KZSM programming decisions and music selections are made by program hosts, station management and Production Committee depending on the context.

Submit music directly to kzsmsanmarcos@gmail.com for consideration, preferably in MP3 or WAV file format. Bring or ship your CDs and vinyl to KZSM, 216 N. Guadalupe, San Marcos TX 78666.

Please name your files as Artist - Title and include a short bio. Music submitted will not be returned.

Music submitted must be of broadcast quality and must exclude defamatory, profane, indecent or obscene material. Inclusion of such content in submissions may result in rejection of any future submissions, airplay or live performance by that artist or label.

KZSM does not sell or barter access to programs. KZSM does not accept money or other incentives in exchange for airplay (payola) or for promoting artists or events (plugola).

By submitting music for consideration, submitting entities and individuals represent and warrant that submitted music has been registered with one of the performing rights organizations (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC). If you are not registered with these organizations, you represent and warrant that you hold these rights personally and grant KZSM the right to broadcast your material.

In addition, because we stream KZSM over the Internet, by submitting music for consideration, you represent and warrant that submitted music has been registered with the appropriate stream licensing organization.
